If its 'b****cks' then why do you say that the Wii is outselling the PS3 in Japan then? I was backing you up saying that Japan as a sales market is an oddball - it doesn't fit into the worldwide traditional sales pattern.
D.
^^^^ - yep, much harder than NOD imo. I think it's down to the fact that I don't know what's what with them yet.
Liking the missions so far and for once, I'm actually watching all of FMV pieces in-between the missions. Michael Ironside is probably the best person they could have picked for...
Japan doesn't really count though, does it?
Put any game out there with some big-eyed girl(s) and some bizarre scenarios and the Japs will buy it in droves. If its cute - it sells. Us Europeans and the Yanks (to be fair) tend to like things a bit more cerebral than having Miss Yakeumachi and...
Brian - I might just chuck it back at Reno initially, if the problem is what edde suggests (and) it can be done under warranty.
It's not 3 years old until November this year, so I guess I'm still in the clear?

Right chaps....
My 182 has developed a very irritating squeak whilst on the move, that I originally thought was down to binding brakes. Whenever I dabbed the brakes, the noise would stop, but then pickup again within a few seconds.
However, tapping the brakes doesn't seem to make much...
^^^^ - still don't believe you.
He's 1ft 6" and that bit of exhaust is actually one of those placky bits off a Matchbox model....:rasp:
Telly does look great!

I think a white Mk2 with matt black alloys and matt black side-pods would look the nutts. Especially if you could slightly tint the headlight units too. :approve:

Yep Colin - cheers for off-loading that to us. :rasp:
Just short of 500 miles this weekend to the audio backdrop of BRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNN left my ears ringing for ages when we got back!
What's worse, it gets louder the warmer the engine and exhaust gets!
Still sounds great though...
Two totally different cars, imo.
The 182 is a lot more chuckable than a Vee. The 182 will get you out of the brown-stuff if you've done something daft (unless you really screw up!) that would otherwise take a brilliant driver to recover in a Vee.
The Vee however, just has SO much...
Looking forward to reading this month's Evo - mainly to read up on the VXR. Pretty much ignored the idea of getting one (as the pricing it too close to an R26) but I'm intrigued, nonetheless.
The one I saw at Brands Hatch looked very weedy on the standard 16s. The 18" option would be essential...
LOL - it just shows you the difference that decent equipment and someone with skill can do - compared to my tiny camera and zero skill! :)
Pics look great!
D.
^^^^^ - LOL! :)
I grew up with Ste as he lived across the road from me..... so I guess that's a bit different!
Ste - you'll have to get some piccies up with the before/after shots of the side repeaters. See if it looks better!
D.
Met Ste on the way back from Leeds. His Ph.1 172 has had major heart surgery today (new cambelt) - so we decided to go for a quick blat over the hills, towards home.
A couple of blatant (and cheesey!) shots...

I'm no mechanical genius, but 200 brake is definitely achievable on the 182s. From what I've read, it's very reliable and stable too - so long as you get the work done right!
Check out threads from yozzasport, GDi, AngelWorks, etc to see what's been done - to name but a few!

Likewise matey!
The inside of Druids is a great spot - I'll definitely sit there again if I revisit Brands. Those nutters in the BTCC race (post-oil-slick) were just mad, were't they? Bumper to bumper, into a hairpin corner with a large strip of dust covered oil on track?! Madness! :)
D.
Loved the look of these little buggers - just wish you could order one from the showroom like this!
Great day - the weather was spot on. The BTCC races themselves were awesome.

Vauxhall still haven't got back to me regarding the test drive. :(
I think it looks great - much, much better than the 197, but I don't think it will be a patch on the Clio in terms of handling.
Only comes with 16s as standard - the 18s being an optional extra. Initial finance quotes are...
There's something totally absent from SC that I can't quite put my finger on. I want to really like it, but I can't. It just feels 'bland' - for want of a better word?
D.
Love to see some piccies when it arrives. I've only seen stuff on the web for this and they are probably P'Shopped to buggery.
Good to hear that the ride height has been lowered as well.
