If its still in wrapping take it somewhere that sells it. Tell them your nan bought it for you for your birthday but you already have it. No receipt as you didnt want to seem ungrateful.

That post explained it, couldn't find it in a search, came up under google images and followed to the thread!
Oh?! The end at the bottom of the tube is flared outwards though? I'm guess its once piece that is then wider at the bottom and it's snapped clean off?
The dipstick holder or a little plastic tube to fit it to the block? The holder will not fit in the engine.
*sorry, it's early, I'm tired and probably being thick!
So after putting some new oil in yesterday and doing a change all was good!
Later on I noticed the bottom of the sump was a bit wet but not dripping off so wasn't too worried, checked oil and it was reading fine, little bit later on checked again and the tube come off!
So I blocked the hole...
I keep saying that too, if within next 5 years most have been problem free then they've lasted a 7 year warranty which is outstanding providing nothing major has gone wrong. I haven't heard of any recalls about bad things as yet.
