Cheers CJ! I'm proper chuffed with them.
Can't say I get a lot of tram lining, I'd hope a proper alignment will sort your issues out even without the bushes.
I need to think about how much I want to change before going to get it aligned. I just don't know whether to go all out, then align, or...
I'm going to do mine bit by bit all around I think Vein.
It's an expensive thing to have fitted for some reason, but they're never that hard to do yourself. The only thing I really don't want to pay for is those front wishbones (that have the balljoints on), they just seem extortionate!!!! You...
Re: E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project *Seat Pics #658*
I decided to forefit paying BMW "specialist" prices this week and rectify a slight knock on the rear end myself (ish).
Fitted some powerflex rear trailing arm bushes last night (RTAB's) with Ant. Without the unit I could see BMW ownership being...
Dependant upon when you'd want to do it, I'd be more than happy to ferry you over to couzens place for fuel money?
I wanted to take a look at the vee anyway, so it's not too much of an inconvenience.
You're black??
FFS, I thought speiz was black and he's white, I assume you were white and you're black.. it's a confusing time on CS.
Anyway, as you ignored my previous post, I bloody love it. Properly properly love it. Are you considering re-doing the wheels that are on it in a silver of...
So hang on a minute, Luke's suggestion was funny, and mine's out of order???
It was supposed to generate a laugh, nothing more. Jesus.
I'll use 1,543 winky faces next time.
I'd personally pop to b&q, buy a fine rope, some screws, some raw plugs and a bracket mounted pulley, make sure you pay the 5p for a bag (don't be cheap).
Go home, empty the bag of its contents, put all three consoles in the bag.
Get a drill, drill four holes in the ceiling to mout the pulley...
Do the f**king pictures Luke, this thread needs at least a few decent pictures of the thing!
Meet up Sunday somewhere middle ground for a few soft top pics if it's sunny Mike?
Re: E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project *Seat Pics #658*
It seems to be a trait with me and photographing seats, I always make them look really bad!
They're actually very tight, and there are methods to tighten them up further that have been done by others members on the zed forums so I may have...
Can't watch the video just yet, but have you checked the oil level?? These can make a right racket if it gets low.
If it is the waterpump its nice and easy indeed and will be a plus point come selling!
Re: E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project *Seat Pics #658*
You know I'd have invited you.
Found it yes, ordered polybush replacement. RTAB's it was.
It's a git to get the old ones out though, new ones go in easy.
Get a photo of what you're talking about, I'm sure we'll have plenty of suggestions, some you may want to do pre-paint.
Without seeing it, could you not weld a shallow nut to it then use a small bolt?
Great work btw, probably my new favourite thread on here :)
I love how even before I opened this thread I knew it'd be fake this, fake that.
Get something that looks nice, it's not a rally car, you don't need titanium wheels forged in the fires of Mt. Doom.
Looking lovely RDR, but your photos are appalling. I'd have taken some for you gladly but I was busy building a stud wall :banghead:
Gimmie a shout next time and I'll definitely be there.
How long did it all take you out of curiosity?
Re: E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project *Seat Pics #658*
It sure does, the alternative is to get yourself one of these:
