HTC are really moving forward, but to compare their new phones relatively, you need to wait and get a hands on with the iPhone4. That will be a lot faster than the 3GS.

Aye. Just depends how they're feeling really. You can never guarantee things. I'm yet to see something updated more than once in any year, but I might be wrong. Oh and did that include AppleCare? It's only about 40 quid as a student. Silly not to have it at that price.

Whatever you buy is going to be updated at some stage. So many people seem to spend their lives waiting for things on MacRumors. Very rarely do they tell you it's a good time to buy anything. Take the iPad for example. It's been out a month or two. Give it 4 months and they'll be telling...

MBP's only had a refresh a month or two back. Got another year before any changes come to those I expect. Certainly won't be this year. I bought mine in November when everyone on MacRumors was saying don't buy. Updates coming early Jan. Then it was late Jan. In the end it was Middle of April...
