I managed to get the rears quite hot on an evening at Snetterton couple months ago. I don't know how but came and gave them a feel and couldn't believe the heat in them! The track had been used all day so was full of rubber, could of played part in some extra grip but highly doubtful. Couldn't...
All going well if the pipe comes in Monday I should be getting it on Tuesday. I can get a day off to go get it and Paul reckons it should be done for then!
Why not? Just get a long drill bit? We do it a lot. Then just clip it down the wall to were your router/switch is and plug it in :
Can do external grade cable for 75p/metre :)
I can't see the regs changing TBH. A bit like the driving age being changed, always being talked about but never will! If anything Semi Slicks are safer tyres because most people that buy them know why there buying them and how to use them!
Terrible track tyres, I done a set in less than half a day!
R888's, whatever people say they are a great all around tyre. Yes even in the wet! Except standing water, but not many tyres are good with standing water at speed!
I've spent a few thousand on mine, and another few in a few days when I get the S/C.
I don't plan on selling my car ever, the resale value on a stripped Ph1 172 isn't more than £1k, I sold all the interior to fund bucket seats etc.. I take the car on track quite a lot, and use it on the road...
