Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the JB scene. I did my 2G from Day1.
Themes is good but it's so much easier having it all legit and being able to just update when you like. I haven't touched my 3GS and I really don't see me doing anything to the 4th Gen on 4.0.
The only advantage for me (because I'm not a pikey) to jailbreaking is the themes. The fact you can change the background on the iPad, I think you'll be able to do that on the iPhone.
There are small things that are handy with a jb but they're not worth the hassle that comes with it.
You can 'raise a ticket' on the Quidco thing. They'll know you did it through them and give them an order number or something and you might still get it.
