Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
The people saying it will be a 'little bit faster' as people I'm assuming that haven't used an iPad for more than 2mins.
The A4 processor is ace and it's going to really improve the iPhone.
Reset the phone and computer and try again.
Have you moved any music to a different hard drive or anything?
If that all fails, try what Jenic says and restore it.
Carriers probably still will after a year.
That just means the dev team have already worked out how to do it on the latest beta version so they know they'll get it working properly fairly soon.
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
I'll use it for about a week. Then people will realise I don't really pay attention on the phone and I'm doing other things and I'll get moaned at. Plus you have to hold it like a mong.
But.. This is Apple. They'll make it work well and everyone will want it...
eBay for the backs.
You can do it yourself. Well, supposedly. I tried to take an iPod apart and I gave up even after buying the tool things from eBay.
Best bet is to take it to a local phone shop, the ones that do repairs etc. They'll swap it for you for a few quid.
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
Smart phones will never get a week standby time that you're used to with some old SE. It just can't happen.
I don't see the problem as long as it lasts a day. Just charge it while you sleep.
£1,197.99
That's what it costs today from Apple. Would you pay £1100 to a random who's opened and used your laptop or for an extra £97, you get another 6 weeks warranty and it's brand new.
You can get the faster one for £999 from the refurb store which will be in perfect condition.
I think...
Google the model name and you might find people with similar problems.
Taking them apart is never as easy as on a desktop. aaronc on here has a laptop repair business, he'll help you out.
But.. a 3 year old laptop that cost £500.. I'm surprised it even still moves! Lol.
If you can copy and paste from PoT, so can I :p
You really are in a bad spot and I feel for you mate.
But..
The fact your Clio is on 36k suggest to me that you do more than 6k a year so you're going to get stung by that final price. You're going to spend out nearly £5k for nothing really...
Find the code from your email and at least try it.
If it says it's already been used, bluff him. Email and say Microsoft confirmed it's been activated since the date you sold it.
Yup.
Have you double checked you gave him the correct code? Try putting the points on yours. It will either work or it will say 'these points have already been used'
It's going to be one of those things that until a few bits come together like the wheels/suspension it looks totally different.
However, that is no excuse for the dice. Looks f**king awful.
You say that.. But would you pay any attention if you saw a guy walk up to a car, open the door, reach in for a phone/wallet, shut the door and walk off?
They won't be in black and white stripes with a swag bag! Lol.
Spot on.
If iTunes did an unlimited streaming thing for £30 a month or whatever then I'd never pirate anything.
The gap between what's legal and illegal is too big. For 99p would I download a perfect copy of something that's going to sit on my HD. Of course. Would I pay £9.99 for that...
