Have a look for a cheap 2nd hand MacMini. Perfect for what you need. I wanted exactly the same as you, pretty covers etc! lol.. Plex is what I used for OSX. Really great bit of software.

Yup. They'll send you letters, then send bailiffs. Just call them. 'Sorry, I don't know my number' They'll take your name, address, postcode or whatever and get your account that way.

It'll be the data settings. If you have a google you'll find out what they are.. Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network I'm guessing wifi works fine?

Well iTunes will be there already. Spotify you can get easily enough. Getting the account is the difficult part.

Have you actually unlocked it? Jailbreaking and unlocking are different. What version is it running? Settings > General > About - 3.1.2? Are you on a Mac or PC?
