Why will you need to do the aux kit again in August if you've already replaced it yourself now? Not like theyre the same replacement timeframe as the cambelt anyway. Should have done it when you did the alternator as you're 95% of the way there 😂

The benefit of using bolt 8 is that theres no chance of it moving on the jack pad. I've had it start to slip on the chassis rail whilst lowering the car as the jack wheels are on block paving. Not an ideal situation when you've brake and fuel lines running down on the other side!

Check all earth, this is usually the immob issue. Also just change your key battery as this can cause it.
