I agree with that yes. The GTX is an awesome comp wheel. On the road I'm hitting full boost at 4k, I didn't hold it long enough on the Dyno to get the spool. It is a bit laggy but then again it on the .82 It matches a normal 3076 on a .63 in terms of spool (took that off for this)

That's why I use shootout as all variables an operator can normally change are locked and you make sure it's repeatable no matter where it says the figure is from! I'd be confident in saying that on an engine Dyno the fly figure I posted in this thread will be +-10hp at the same boost...

That's the point though, same car different Dyno different whp. The power is never a raw output so even that involves some calculations

So why would it be a fair comparison Dyno to Dyno? My example of hub figure for instance. Take dynojet wheel figures vs dd wheel figures, miles apart.....

They only mean jack if it's on a Dyno that takes the p1ss There are plenty of dynos in this country that will show a much higher WHEEL figure compared to any DD. Same as the dynapack hub figure, this also matches our fly figure.....

Ok, you have seen different examples to me then but even so it's rare in the UK for wheel figures to be quoted. I could go out tomorrow and put the car on a dyno that shows much higher numbers but i posted this as progress on my own car on my own dyno. Next time i'll make sure i post only...

Seen as here in the UK the estimated flywheel figure is always used thats what i posted oh and to add most USA numbers that quote ATW actually MATCH the flywheel power on a Dyno Dynamics.......

After taking one apart I personally don't think the gear set will handle abuse with this torque but it should be ok if you are sensible

It's my own car that i develop all the upgrades on, they dyno is a tool for mapping and making sure it's producing the power it should be if used correctly. You dont have to be "into" dyno's but they are a much needed tool for mapping things like this! You actually sound a little like a road...

This is a totally standard 172 gearbox. Our white one was too, also dean's was 330hp on the stock box

The only difference is the cams so it must be them. Or the pulley is slightly smaller but on the low boost setup it made less than our kit so dunno

421 cams and the pulley is the normal one we use. I think 85mm but would have to look

The standard price is for the cheaper pistons and no cams, valves etc.

Forged internals and fully balanced. Catcams. Supertech intake valves and ACL DLC coated big ends. Also has stronger valve springs for the extra rpm....
