CS4 is probably about 10x the price.
If you're paying for it, obviously as you will be, then get Elements.
If Captain Hook is buying you a present, then cost doesn't matter, so you want CS4.

Playing CoD etc in single player mode is good, great even. But getting your arse kicked by a 10yr old American takes it to a whole new level.

When you both reach adulthood you might realise how things work.
Lets say a game is £40. Now you'll spend that on a night out, easily. That game will last you a year, at least. If you'd spent £40 on Cod W@W you could probably sell that for £20 now.

My advice would be to buy as big as you can afford.
If it's your first big tv, you'll be leaning back, arching your neck to get further back. In 6months you'll wish you bought a bigger one.
So your choices are..
1) Sell the 172, clear your debt and then create more debt by getting a car worth triple the amount and then £2k on insurance
2) Keeping the 172 and pay £1100 on insurance.
If selling the 172 would clear your debt, then it's hardly an amount worth worrying about. Just...
You say about maintenance, but at 9 years old you will already have changed a lot. Suspension/brakes etc. Those sorts of things will have needed to be replaced by now I imagine. They won't be the case of a 182 and something you'll have to fund.
Have you driven a 182?
