Welcome to the forum, there are some meets arranged for us on bank holiday Monday in Lincoln :)
Meets are usually fairly good too :) its in the east midlands section :)
I've just sold my Williams :(
Love the white valver - that's a stunning car. I wanted your valver wocka when I bought my Williams, but you broke it instead.
I sold it due to circumstances, the mileage was racking up, but I got a company car literally a few weeks later. The car probably the nicest cup on this site, has everything 'everyone' wants.
Its had a lot of money spent on it recently to make it even better. It would be purely a second car.
I...
Hello,
I am looking at buying my old 172 back, what are peoples experiences of buying back a car they've previous owned.
For me, im relishing the thought of owning the one car i regretted selling.
Just wondering what all your thoughts are really, or if you've done it before etc.
Thanks :)
Re: A few new additions to Trophy 147/500
Lovely James - looks much more focused than before - really really like it.
There are some old ww2 bunkers which look rather cool, round by me, that I spotted in the week - if your free on sunny afternoon - let me know and I'm sure we can go get some...
Yes, there are many bad examples out there. Mine isn't concourse by any stretch of the imagination - but it is solid and mechanically sound, which was everything I wanted.
Surface corrosion and imperfections can be easily sorted.
James, I'm so glad I've kept it tbh.
I've bought a few bits and pieces for her recently too. Want to get bodywork smartened up, finding decent panels are a nightmare though! Will be getting wheels refurb'd in correct colour with proper diamond cut edge too, wheels are far to yellow ATM.
Gunner180 chip, decat and exhaust (but I'm gonna be getting standard exhaust shortly), it's too loud and looks rubbish tbh!
Other than that, fairly standard.
Ladies and gents.
Just a quick picture after a wash and clean today.
It's the first picture I've taken, in front of our first house, which we bought at beginning on December '11. Williams has had to take a bit of a back seat, nearly also sold it. Thankfully it's still in the family...
Spotted this morning, followed from Worksop junction to Markham Moor.
Full cage, slicks, v6 trophy spoiler, silver.
Doubt it's anyone from here, but a fantastic looking car.
I have had a fiat Doblo, SEAT Leon, Kia pro'ceed & I am currently in a SEAT Ibiza ecomotive.
Due to be going into a Volvo C30 1.6 diesel in the next month. Can't wait tbh!
I get to use mine for personal mines, which is a godsend inc fuel card.
