What's the next benchmark for 1*2s going to be, I beat a 2015 type r?
They are old cars now it's not going to keep up with these new turbo charged hatches where massive power increases are just a map away. As nice as the ST is I'd rather 8/10ths of the performance for 2/10ths the cost
I have had bad and good but mostly bads. First one pulled me (this is when ANPR was first released) to tell me my car was stolen. I'd only had the car 2 weeks so off we go to sit in the back of their car and they went through the motions of asking questions about it and me. I then noticed that...
one thing to check is the thermostat housing seal. I put a non genuine one on my 182 and it used to lose coolant when warm and after a drive, dripping onto the plastic gearbox cover and boiling off so look for staining there.
for such an easy and cheap job its worth doing it early. I do my 182 and saxo every 4k if not less than that and the oil stays very clean for a long amount of time, compared to my missus tigra that when I changed the oil on its straight away darkbrown/black again in 200 miles but I intend to...
ive always read on here 6k is the absolute maximum you should be leaving the oil in. I'd do that on pretty much any car too, its generally black as feck by then
Just had a read of that think I recall the car. They are amazing fun even with just the 1.4 16v in, my old gtis used to feel hilariously quick for what they were. I take it you have moved to a 182 now?
What's your username on there mate?
I had sets on various metros seems the choice of tyres on the rims for them is limited. Managed to do an under steer 40ft slide at 20mph in the damp on a set. Awful things made of recycled plastic but they did last forever
could have been a lot worst that, lucky you got off quite lightly. Have a go driving a 160 bhp metro on 15 year old camac aurigas. Driving on those has taught me to drive respectfully in the rain no matter what the car or tyre setup
When the cars been sitting and has gone stone cold over night, I come to start it in the morning and it starts up but will idle so low it will cut out unless I give it a a touch of throttle. Once the throttle has been pressed it raises the idle to the normal speed and all is well.
Car doesnt...
Was just googling rb 182s and this popped up. Pretty sure it was this very car, minus the stripes
