its the Scorpion SRN019, the single rear box one.
@imprezaworks - the camera was on the edge of a laybay on a small tripod. Its only a small camera so I'm not really sure how they spotted it, guess the passenger saw it as they were 3 up in the front
I can, got the HD video at home so i'll have a think.
Yeah they couldn't reverse due to the silver van. I thought it odd when the silver van came up the road and the blue one didnt, so shot back to find them driving away and the camera had gone. Glad they gave it back however without too much...
My dad measured the discs before parting with any money on these as its my sisters car - they are 280mm?! Unless someones been tatting and put the larger calipers on?
cheers mate! Funny you should say that about the camera..

The purple van the followed me turned round and they picked the camera up before I could get back to it. Luckily I managed to chase them down and demanded the camera back off them - guess they didnt want...
I have nothing against them and would use them for certain parts if they had them in stock. I just I think some of their items are quite pricey for what they are
Sometimes opening the bleed valve on the caliper can help, had a similar thing on an old 106 - bent a huge g clamp trying to press it back in (was front calipers not the rear screw down type_. Okay you'll need to rebleed them but its worth a shot?
find a 106gti/Saxo VTR/S in a scrapyard and rob one off one of those - rear calipers are very similar if not indentical but then again the fitting kits are cheap so why not. Pug or citroen should stock them too
to be fair the Ktec one isnt too badly priced if you compare it to a BMC or an ITG maxogen, but £160-170~ for what is essentially a bit of silicone induction piping and a £30 foam filter its not for me
perhaps not but as pointed out previously in the thread, the differences these things make are so minimal and only offer a noise differences really. Thats why I stick to the standard air box and different filter element
makes me think that if someone had created one themselves it would get laughed at for being a bodge but with the ktec stamp of approval then its ok. I dont have anything against K-tec mind you, fair play to them for making money!
Cant be as bad as the chap with a plastic bucket around a cone...
bald guy driving this one. I sometimes see a black sport over in warstones/merry hill outside a house, alongside another silver 172? or at least used to
thanks mate, yours looked smart too. Nice to see someone actually on here, I only see about 3 people around this area who use this site but loads of RS's
