It won't work as a replacement. Well it will run the car but the temp guage and a few other bits usually go mental! The ecu on yours is used more on the 182 and has very different software to the other ecu Paul

The older ecu's are prone to going wrong and can cause the problems described above. Find out all the data on your ecu as i might have a used one in stock that will get you working.

Check your plugs on the injectors

I think it was just the temperature of the first couple tbh, donny dog's deffo has a coil/injector problem so that explains that one. As for jon's 265, wtf! I only quote 30hp on that map but i think i made some extra changes in his, Andy will test his tonight :)

Put mine on after the picasso (lol was a 90hp and made 90.8!) and made 257 with a trial map but with perfect fueling ( the trial was the fueling) Once the new fan is hooked up i think the turbo cars will run more consistent. Shame about the other meganes tho :S As i said ben, there is more...

That might work but it depends on how the ecu was calibrated for the bigger injectors. It might result in a very very lean mixture and cause detonation. We'll have the dyno into our new place in the next week ish so we can map your car then no probs Cheers Paul

If you can map the stock ecu properly and understand how it works there is no way you would need a standalone ecu. The stock ecu's fitted today are far more clever than any everyday aftermarket. Cold start functions, temp maps, knock correction, map sensor scales, wideband control. The list goes...

My advice is to only ever fit aftermarket if you need to. And you don't!

Why go the omex route for 1500 when you can pay for a map (dyno map live or not) on your current ecu and save a grand for beer :D

CDA Filters or the Maxogen are IMO a good filter but neither have we tested back to back. Foam type panel filters do aid with gains Paul
