Just wondered if the sport sideskirts would fit directly on a dynamique.
I've heard some people say that you need the sport front wings so they fit properly or to just buy replica skirts.
Cheers, Dan

Nah it should last much longer than that if you've done a decent job :) I did mine about a year ago and It's not peeling or got any air bubbles
I think It's a nice upgrade to those of us who aren't lucky enough to have colour coded spoilers :p
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Ah thanks mate! and yeah go for it lol! I think it'll be easy enough to do, it's just finding the time to do it :dapprove: hopefully over the next few weeks I'll have got them finished :)
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Cheers mate and lmao it's too late :p I ignored everyone and put them on about a month ago and still like them so far. Keeping the standard ones though for when I see sense but these are staying on for now :)
The grommet was from halfords, I brought an assorted pack...
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Paid £20 for them inc postage, they were from another ClioSport member. Get yourself membership and then you can watch the "for sale" section :)
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Right, I know I’ve left it a while since my last update so this is gonna be a big’n!
Firstly I managed to find a pair of clear side repeaters from a scrap yard in Shirebrook. They were from a Twingo but are the same type. Quite happy with these as he didn’t charge me...
Hey guys,
I'm going to be colour coding the Clio in a few days but I'm not sure which bit is the actual paint code.
This is the sticker inside the driver's door:
Any help will be appreciated, thanks :)
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Cheers for the advice guys :) I'll keep watching the for sale section and see if anything decent pops up :)
Anyway, a little update :D
My K&N induction kit arrived wednesday in the biggest box ever!
Me and my Dad fitted it in about 45mins, the old airbox was...
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Just renewed my insurance and decided to go with elephant. This means I can now afford an induction kit which I ordered earlier and should be delivered on Wednesday as well as lowered suspension! :D I'm unsure whether to go for a 40mm drop or 60mm. Been looking around on...
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Just done a car insurance quote and lets just say, I won't be getting it lowered anytime soon. It's going to cost me an extra £900 with Admiral! Jesus, what a rip off :(
Anyway, things that will be more reasonable:
K&N Induction kit: will be ordering that soon :D...
I did mine about 2 weeks after getting the car and that was almost a year ago
I think they turned out okay, they haven't started peeling or shrinking yet either :)
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Ah right okay, thanks mate :) I'll keep looking round then
Yeah lol :p and thanks! Yeah it's pretty straight forward. The spoiler took the longest to do but it wasnt fidly like the hadbrake cover. I gave up on that :P All you have to do is heat up the CF wrap and...
You won't have to buy the tints if you get it professionally done, they'll have a load of rolls of different tints and you just basically say which one you want :) you'd have to do a search to see window tinters in your area :)
You could spray your spoiler gloss black to go with your roof better and I think colour coding the bumper and sidestrips would be a good idea :) it looks very similar to mine atm.

I'm hoping to lower mind and colour...
Want to lower my car but don't want to go down the coilover route. (its a 1.6 mk2 btw) Do you think these would be any good?

It says it lowers the front by 60mm and the rear by 40mm. Would it be better if I spent a little extra money...
