LOL.
I hope that it's just this bearing, but if it's not, I hope it's this bearing and a dodgy shaft. I refuse to stump up more pointless f**king £££ for coilovers I don't want or need.
I thought it may be the case, we only discovered we needed a new stat on a saturday afternoon... so it wasn't a choice.
I really do hope it is. (I guess I can just drain from the thermostat upwards) and then re-top up?
It rocks back and forth on the 6 and 12, not coming all the way in and out and both sides.
Danny (or employee (sorry I can't remember your name)) why would my coilies be dead?? Not like they're cheap nasty ones.
Yeah I'll have to keep at it.
It only started dropping this fast after we changed it. I'm hoping that it's something to do with the thermostat or something... we bought non genuine due to unforunate circumstances.
Never...?
I haven't looked at all for leaks yet though, I hope it's that bottom rad hose and the clip isn't doing so well the second time around... Wishful thinking maybe.
Pink residue? It's green coolant FYI.
I've topped it up a fair few times Ant. Then Saturday before driving up to my dads topped it up to max again, done a lot of driving and today it's below half.
Could it be leaking only when hot?
I haven't really looked for any leaks yet, just wanted to know if there was anywhere common worth...
So, my car's always used a bit of water, but the amount was rather insignificant. (Just needed a top up every 4-6 months or so)
Did a coolant change with a member off of here (flushed from bottom rad hose and changed thermostat) since then, I'm losing a fair bit of water, I mean I went from...
Utterly perfect, if they were 15's I'd prefer them, but I'd argue that it'll drive better on light 16's than 15's of the same weight.
Looks frikken amazing though, like really.
I am, but 2118's are an itch I need to scratch.
I'll probs put them on, enjoy it for a bit then sell it for a TT.
P.s - you'll never keep them clean unless you employ gally to follow you around.
Decent tyres Chris? (elaborate)
I've been through four different sets now... Paradas suit me pretty well.
Thing is, in the wet I genuinely have no urge to drive quickly, so that doesn't bother me. Get the paradas hot and my god they can be fun. You can burn through them silly fast though.
Was quite heavily modded and you'd pulled up onto the grass on the dual carridgeway that runs parallel to the m25 on the anticlockwise approach to the dartford tunnel.
Anyone off here?
If I wasn't giving it hell down there I'd have stopped and offered to help out, I did try to brake, but...
