I think to go see it, get in front of it & see if you like it, how it drives etc and if all of the history etc stacks up. Then see what you can get it for.
I'd go for 172 /182 sports seats tbh, for several reasons;
They look much better than those.
They are cheap & easy to come by (even for nicer condition ones)
They fit straight in.
You can have the rears matching.
They're branded for an actual Renault & not a Peugeot.

There are a couple of old Mini's buzzing around pretty local to me, one red with gold Minilites & roof. The other one's a pale coloured van (I think it's grey) I think it's roof chopped & slammed with wide arches etc (I only got a glimpse)
Sadly while I was walking :( I saw the R27 as I was going to cross the road by Hombase, sitting right up the arse of the car in front making all sorts of loud exhaust noises, reg started off AK57 (pretty appropriate really lol!)
Then I saw a silver 172 or 182 slammed on Rota's ? The reg starts...
I saw one by my work the other month, it was the same one I used to see about 20 years ago locally! It still looked the same, slammed OZ Super T's etc. It still had a bloody dump valve on it too!
Yeah, I don't think there's a stand by mode.
I don't understand how it's giving directions, but the screen isn't on ? Directions to where ? lol!!
Have you taken the CD out and put it back in again ? Other than that try the connections on the actual unit & the back of the aerial on the roof.
Just saw an old red Mini & a white one buzzing around, both with roll back roofs etc, they had some steering wheel looking sticker on the door, plus the red one had a plate ending in LDN (I didn't catch the white one) no blue one though, bummer!
