yeah, when we took the head off my 172 we found that the basic design can be largely improved on. but we dont have the facilities in HK.
Oh, that RR is sitting in our basement if you want it?
top job on the turbo so far!
if they really are group n discs (where did you buy them from? raldes?) then there slightly soft and heatup quicker. The rally pads (band and spec?) are harder and need heat to work, but from 80mph they should!!
they dont take that long to wear in although some say up to 100-200miles!!

hmmmmmmm, maybe me and capt should enter this.
haha!
no the theory works but in principal not so much.
your engine is consuming roughly 6300lts of air @7000rpm.
the ram effect would have to suply 6301lts to provide any possible "ram air effect"
can you design a system which does...
sorry, i know were all allowed our own veiw....but he super 4 sucks big donkeys balls!!!
Fistly, its temp range is awful!
its just gimmic and since you dont care about service life, i wouldnt bother with a plug designed for loner service purely, not any better fireing.
NGK worked so much...

exactly...its a little 1.4!!!
the plugs will NOT make any difference to service life (the rate you change them) or perforance.
almost all modern cars with an ECU need a resistor type plug. It just stops the frequencies generated by the electricity flowing through the leads and plugs. leads...
agree!!
i dont even want to tart up my clio@
can i send in pics of all the clios and clio V6s that we have modified here! hehe
10 quid for the picture of your choice anybody!!
its not so much the height of the car, but the settings your running.
in the wet, i rnu the rear track narrower than the fronts, this helps heep weight over the front wheels as your altering the pivoting point and the polar moment of inertia.
in the wet, the key to fast progress is...

in group n racing, you use the production version....and the normal 172 is just that....you can take out the aircon and stuff, but modifying the engine (to a point) is not allowed. neither is suspension mounting points, drivetrain, injection system and location of main components.
If the 172...
Been talking to capt. about starting and stalling probs.
On the V6, after a drive the engine is real hot, so when you park up for about1/2hr the fuel in the lines vaporises. And since its non return fuel rail, your stuck with vapour for a few mins.
it also sounds like fuel supply prob...
