Id personally fit the remote stat . Its an hours job and stops thermal shock, when even with the slotted 82 degree stats can still be a problem. K-series though - some go on forever others just go!
Ok great stuff. I work in Walsall so I can be over sharpish after 5pm, ill go stick the springs in the boot so they are ready for when you can fit me in.
Ill be working anyway mate, so if you can accomodate me after 5 one of the week nights or indeed on a saturday that'd be great? Ill ring you to sort it anyway. Cheers for the help!
I'll call you to arrange a suitable time mate that'll do me grand. You'll definately need a windy gun on these, seems like some numpty has been messing with this car. The caliper bolts to hub bolts needed a 3 foot breaker bar just do undo em!
How tight are these supposed to be? Tried all the methods in the guides and it just will not come undone. Tried using a big breaker bar on a cranked 21mm spanner and the allen key in the hole - no difference. Would an air gun do it?
Exactly like the first picture. Are they standard? I was told by JamesT87 they dont look standard as he said the ride height was near his trophy which I confirmed and hes running aftermarket.
Was speaking to JamesT87 last night and he seems to think my clio has a set of lowering springs fitted to it already due to the ride height. Ive got underneath and cleaned the rears up, hoping to see a manufactureres name but I cant find any. The springs are black and at the top there is a red...
Cant find anything on the k-tec website I'm afraid. Really want one with a breather attachment, dont want to do it with little ghetto style filter/breathers
GTR right into a tree. So thats a write off then due to the stupid bonnet deployment s**t, driver must have been an idiot to mess that up with all the gtr's electronic gubbins
