Agreed mate. I remember 'back in the day' on my 16v it was hard even then to get metal amphasite ones. The plastic ones were poo & the silver metal ones looked wrong. I went to Saarfend in it once & some c**t stole two of them from one side. B*stards!

Rub down the hub part in front of the disc & paint it up in black, it'll look miles better :up:

I like it a lot (I am not a Mini fan at all) the colour's ace & the interior etc looks damn smart. I'd want to lower it a bit though.

You don't say where you are, but find a good specialist (there are tons listed on here) & you'll be fine. They know them inside out, and better than your mate does. That's for sure.
