    yeh, ideal. Wish i had someone doing the refining...Infact i do! BEAR! ;) I think the polish you have is fine. I'd go for the Megs or 3m pads. I use the white menz compounding pads and then usually orange and black country lake pads.

    My advice with 3m would be...Don't use it on a PC!!! You mayyyy although i wouldn't advise it get away with ultrafina...get the rotary mate! :)

    I find temp makes a good difference in the breakdown esp with menz compounds. I actually swtiched to 3M and found improvements. The Glossit range mayb worth a look if your stickin with the DA, longer work time tho.

    I would hope it was corrected via rotary, or you've wasted 4hrs of your life! lol! VAG paint is a bit of a art, you know it's hard, so start hard and then refine slowly. BingoBango!

    5hrs to do the bonnet! Were you polishin it with your face? :S Even a heavy oxidised surface shouldn't take that long to cut and refine! Looks a decent turnaround tho!
