True.
It's a just in case scenario really. I don't want to fracture the pipe trying to get this bloody nut undone that some numpty has rounded then have to leave my car standing until I source a new pipe.
If I have a replacement pipe to hand I won't be too bothered about being massively careful.
It's the green metal line that runs from the hose into the compensator valve?? (some sort of box thing). It's like a funny u shape.
I just want the have another one spare in case we brake the one on the car and then my car has no brakes
Mornings,
Ok a may need to replace part of my brake line. After putting braided lines in we can't get the nut undone for one of the rear lines as it looks like someone has had a go at it before and rounded the nut. Before we go ahead and try and force it off I want to get a bit of replacement...
I had a cable that think taped to another cable of the similar thickness. Went through fine. Just wiggle it about. Poke it through with a screwdriver. It will fit!!!!!!
Yeh my cable is that thick. The put a sturdy cable through from inside the car side. Then use loads of tape to tape your amp wire then pull it back through
Ok, go another route.
Take you the battery. There's two or three bolts holding the ecu in place. Undo them and the ecu will sit to one side. Unclip the two bottles they will sit out the way. Then you'll be able to pull the soundproofing carpet right out. Brace will still be in the way of...
Calm down buddy :). If your brace is self tappered in just unscrew them. If it's bolted in it's a little more difficult. That's if you want to put the brace back in after. You could take it off then put it back in at a later date or sell it
Is no one else thinking take your strut brace off?? Unless its welded on of course.
Took mine off to get my amp wire through. Took two minutes after that
Disappointed that the stig didn't drive all three round their track. Would of been a better test for comparison.
The Clio was always going to lose with May at the wheel.
I still enjoyed the show.
You buggers always go the opposite way to me!! Aaron, do you wanna meet at Bridgwater if your coming up and we'll take the scenic route to cheddar to meet up with them?
