well the graphics card, memory, cpu, motherboard, hdd etc were bought a good few months back and cost around £1300 at the time. What I am doing now is just switching to the new NVidia case and adding all the cooling fans into the case, 6x 120mm fans, Zalman CPU cooler, Zalman Fan Controller, 2 x...
Its an Intel Core2Duo E6600 Overclocked to 3.0GHz (which I may increase now, or may be going to Quad Core anyway). 2.0GB 1066MHz OCZ SLI-Ready Memory, 400GB Seagate SATA HDD, EVGA N680i Motherboard, XFX 768MB 8800GTX (1900MHz).
Just a few pics from my efforts tonight, still a work in progress over the next couple of nights probably, I can't believe how much quicker the PC is, I think a lot of it is to do with the new Zalman CPU cooler.
I'm off to bed now because i'm f**ked.
I don't think the price is bargain basement though, I think they could have done a lot more with the interior to make it more appealing without having to raise the price, it seems to have poor design choices IMHO (naming the stereo 'pod' for starters)
I've got one they are good, but its a much better option to get something like the Toshiba EP30 as said, the noise from the 360 is very annoying when trying to watch films. Its powered from seperate source.
Can anyone just confirm for me, that the following cable is correct and can be used for both HDDs and SATA CD/DVD drives?
