Re: Upper gearbox mount- turning upper nut looks like its going to rip the rubber mou
Manage it then mate? I think the nut on mine was spinning too tbh, really need to replace that soon though...
Re: Upper gearbox mount- turning upper nut looks like its going to rip the rubber mou
I had this problem, the rubber was causing it to spring back pretty violently too, never did solve it so please let me know how you get on. (I've still got a new mount waiting to go on sitting on my bedside...
Bummer :(
I've managed to get a perfect fit on a random lower res, which doesn't look too bad.
I'm just updating my graphics driver in the faint hope it might make a blind bit of difference.
I'm sad because the 1080-ness of it all looked so pretty.
Oh and before google is suggested, I've looked and still am. I'm currently posting off of my TV display in 1080, but I'm missing the maximise and close icons to the top right of the firefox window...
I'm unsure whether it's an issue with my tv or just something software related with the laptop...
I've recently bought a new tv, 42" 1080p LG, and I'm trying to output from my laptop to it.
My laptop is a widescreen format Dell, 1366x768, but when I select "output to external monitor only" I can go up to full 1080p output....
When I do this, it displays on my tv beautifully, apart from...
I'd just spray that purple wheel up in silver, if you get a slightly different silver colour, spray the one on the same side too. Looks pretty smart in silver IMO.
Hey mate, my ph1 hasn't really suffered from rust at all, there's certainly none on the rear arches and as far as I know, none under the skirts.
I'm pretty sure the shell is exactly the same as the ph2, just with a different front end.
With regards to the interior, they come as standard with a...
Some of the alpine units are plain black with orange illuminations which match the Clio well, wouldn't really call it OEM, but certainly not intrusive at all.
Welcome mate, there's a mass of knowledge on here so hopefully you'll get the mk1 in a good state pretty quickly.
There's a lot of member's (mainly who have converted their mk1's to 2.0 172 engines) who are very active, and generally very knowledgeable.
"Sideways Danny" off of here, runs a...
What's going on with the cream wheels? Have you currently got one purple one cream and two silver?
Apart from not having cream wheels, the car's looking really quite nice, not OTT. If you did the wheels cream I think a cream roof rack would look mint. (I'd have it powder coated so it didn't...
Sorry mate, misunderstood you a bit.
Yeah another stop would have been nice and I did see a lot of signs for Reims, but just didn't really know what was there.
Last minute is win, no idea what the hotel etc will be like, just turn up and hope.
Yeah that's the one, very strange thing going in under the tunnel!!!
A bit out of my paygrade, but outside the Moet houses there was some serious motors.
I can't tell if the first bit is sarcastic?? I asked for advice on places to stop as TBH it was all on a bit of a whim!
So, I have a feeling my FK coilovers may be slightly uneven on the front with regards to the damping.
Is this something I can just change myself? I was thinking just wind them both to as soft as possible, then go say three full turns tighter on both, go out and test, then repeat?
Is there more...
It's just a case of finding a mk2 ph1 non sport, ideal an RN or RL model, they should have manual windows, take out the whole window mech (really easy, just a few bolts), take a few photos for reference (as to where the holes were drilled etc) and replicate it.
If you ask member Kerry-W on...
It's exactly the same as non electric. You might have to drill a few new holes in the door skin, but I'm sure it'd be very easy as long as you had a manual window car to match.
