Not really now, you can get a nice mk1 (non recorded) for 10k. I'd even sell mine (which is a straight car) for that. I'd give no more than 7k for that recorded red one.

Did the Evo even come on boost ? Something's not quite right really, I know about bhp per ton etc, but i'd have said the Evo would still be quicker... unless the clio's not standard ?? (as well as being stripped out)

As long as you get them in that area & get it straight they'll look fine. I'd not worry about getting each one mm perfect.

Breakers, see if you can get one there. Renault will charge you that amount as it's a new part, aslo their labour isn't cheap etc. You can sort it without laying out a load of cash or sealing it up.

Yeah I had a W reg electric blue plus about three years ago now, I went to a few fccuk meets in bluewater when I had it. mine was un-touched engine wise (it had had a filter on it etc though) suspension wise it was pretty sorted (billies etc)

Yep, sadly that's how cheap they've become. There are lots around for less, but I reckon they won't be immaculate etc. Assuming yours is mint, I reckon 4k is a fair price.

Standard ones look a bit hmm, if you get an LE or a Plus they look better, you can always get the side skirts etc fittted on though :) Mine was a complete minter, a plus in electric blue- very sought after :D i'd probs have another Plus, or an LE (in Vinci Grey, lush !)
