hmmm, difficult Ali, I've been in an identical position and unfortunately decided against the Vee after driving one, too impractical for me, but if I was free and single again I'd probably have gone for it. I'd go with taylor "f**k it do it, if it doesnt work sell it... you only live once"
as said just pull it hard, it won't break. I upgraded recently from a 6680 as well, the software is a lot quicker, more reliable, the camera is excellent, I love it, its the first non-Nokia i have had.
mine went for 6k with only 40k miles, 52 plate, Turinis, Eibach Pros, Cup Spoiler/Splitter and was IMMACULATE. It sold within days of being on Pistonheads, I priced it well for a quick sale.
^^ that's what I was getting at, the main thing is that it is not uncommon for external drives to not show on some systems, yet under disk management they do.
right click on your computer on the desktop, select manage, look under disk management and see if it is listed. If it is, you can format it, set the drive letter, etc.
