it should list under disk management, i've not had them get hot before, could mean its bust.

if you look under disk management is it listed? it may just need assigning a drive letter.

what error message? if is not displaying at all, go to desktop > right click on computer > manage > look for it under disk management. If your getting cyclic redundancy check messages its f**ked. I've had two do this.

did you order from play.com ? my orders were really f**ked up, I ordered the Xbox 360 VGA cable and it was dispatched on Saturday, then I ordered a HD-DVD on Monday that was dispatched on Tuesday, they both arrived together on Thursday??
