Apex IIRC? My 172 was/is the same, its more than a handful to control at SPEED to say the least. I've been in an Evo at similar speeds and over, it was planted. Sometimes it can be more fun that way though.

not having a dig mate, just my opinion as said. Each to their own, but personally I don't see the need to change the dials in a 172/182.

as said just a base model set, all grey, no silver surrounds or fancy needles, no trip computer on the dialset. Don't have a pic.

lockwood dials will look toss IMO.

your car was put together with base model dials, because french being french, ran out and thought f**k it.

black/grey dials with silver surrounds, red needles. If you haven't you have the same problem I had. One way of being sure is, do you have a working trip computer?

i use my gfs 1.5 65bhp as a daily drive, its done 17k and has been mechanically faultless. Its nothing to get excited about, but when pushed from the start and keeping the revs high through gear changes can be pretty 'quick' considering, ours has started returning 60mpg on average, it used to be...
