£400 for the above work is extortionate imo.
I reckon half that, tops. Tbh though all of it's not overly hard to do though, so you could save even more money.
^mk2 vee/182 trophy one ?? if so that's good going:cool: They are very rare & usually sell for more than that. I was after one ages ago (for my mk1 vee) but I decided not to bother.
Exactly mate. That bin price on ebay is high !
At the end of the day, an E46 M3 is very nice for the money, but the OP said that he can't get insured on one, also the running costs would be a lot lot higher than the clio, so I see where's he coming from.
So based on that, deffo get a vee ;)
- OP dude, how old are you btw ?
As Revels said, they do kind of have a point. For 15k i'd have an M3 or a mk2 vee (Ok it's still got a renault badge, but meh) I'd never buy new (each to thier own etc etc)
I still have never got to go to this show :(
I'm just wondering really if a silver & blue mk1 escort rs2000 was there ?? Old M reg, complete minter, it's from round my way (Essux)
Pmsl @ that red one !! I've seen it before but it's truly hideous, the women are dogs too.
The chorme one is quite bad, but not in the league of the red one.
I think that a Williams still turns heads and i'd deffo have one (not as an everyday car though) As said finding 'the minter' might take some time. If you can't find any, maybe consider going for the 'hybid' route, ok they aren't as sought after etc, but quite a few on here have cracking...
