The build number of it tells you if it's an import or not (technically they are are though) as the numbers quite high it is one (don't worry about it though) as a tracker can be fitted later on if you want one, they make little or no difference to your insurance though (mine doesn't at all)
The steering wheels wear really badly (even more so if you wear rings) the seats only really wear on the bit you sit on (if your wallet is in your back pocket it'll make the seat bobble a bit) easily fixed though.

Do you have a link to the ad ?? It does make an induction noise yeah, the fans are pretty looud when they kick in too (passenger side vent area)

The steering wheels do go manky as they are rubbish quality, so a re-trim or a different wheel is required. The door trays can...
Yep mk1 FRS engine. puma build do a fair few conversions etc, some don't like them though.
Strip it, sort then suspension, brakes etc, then if the engine gives up sort out a conversion then.

Brians 172 still cuts it too imo. I could be here all day, but I can't think of cars.
