any chance of a pic of the washer jets?

you HAVE to have the lights on for the washers to work. Sounds like you had the wrong splitter before but have the correct one now, washer jets sound like they are either the wrong ones, or Renault have actually replaced the crappy plastic ones because the ends keeping falling out.

The turtle wax tyre GEL (not spray) looks fairly cack when put on, but once its had time to settle (2 hrs or so) it looks fab.

ball joint wouldn't do that, would make the steering feel loose or wobbly but not shake that car like speed bumps. Would say wheels bolts most likely.

don't bother using self tappers, I didn't, I used big washers with screws and plenty of them. Just line the splitter up, tape it in place, drill through and screw in place. I did about 12 screws as I don't want it coming off or anyone swiping it. It was easy for me though as I used a mates ramp...
