@ clarkiev6 - where abouts in devon? have you ever done any 1.2 d7f ones? i did mine the other day, but its making a noise...sounds like water pump, but its a new one. di you know if these engones do this?
the oil shouldnt be getting that hot...theres to much friction if its getting that hot. how are you telling the oil temp? i didnt think 1.4's came with oil temps, just pressure guage....
lol. i think he ment with just the mount cover off, not the whole mount. anywayz, the mounts do fit each other. the valver has fancy cover thats all lol.
iv never had the problem. i just read a few posts on here tho with people saying the have the problem. like one guy said his clio had its 18000 service, 4000 miles later he discs were wrecked..
Just had a thought... i wonder if its anything to do with the new salt there using on the roads?!
 stupid thing!
earlyer today, i thought i fixed it by refitting a rubber boot onto the diff. it went away for about 2hours....but now its bk!!!!
iv checked the same boot to see if its leaking, but seems to be ok...SO WHAT THE HELL IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i noticed theres alot...
that is going to sound awsome! the roar of the ik will feed right thru that, and you'll have the roar right at front of car...the shape might help mk it loader to lol wicked lol
iv noticed alot of people complaining about there renualt discs corroding, and wearing realy fast. i wonder if there is a faulty batch, where the mixture of he metal isnt right. to much iron for example....
they probs didnt change the brake pads then (almost certain, or the put an old set in. 2 reasons, 1. its cheaper for them, 2. they mk more money off you down the line) if it had old pads in, they could have worn the discs down in 4000 miles, but they'd have to be pretty ruff!
^^ the reason for this is because when you drive the car, the loose connection has a change to make&break because when the cars moving its going over bumps ect, when there just starting it in the garage, theres no bumps or forces made to break the connection.
^^ none of the above would stop the engine from turning over, it would just stop it starting. if i remember, this person s starter motor didnt even turn...
