Hey people. whenever i take the car out.. the sub seems to make the carpet in my boot slide about and scrunches it up ina corner. What has everyone with mk 1s used? any links to any sites with some glue or something?
cheers
do you close your doors by pushing them to the first lock then pushing hard to the secure lock?
just drop the f**ker, it LOVES being dropped
it HATES being pressed onto, its a piss thin skin which will dent very easily
the further you drop, the less comfortable the ride is gonna be. 60 mil drop springs with 17s will be a harsh ride, even if you get shortened struts, it will still be hard. ide get a 35 mil drop myself, im sure someone will post some pics
FM
if your paranoid about standard springs not being upto the job (which they are on a 35mm drop), get the 35 mm version apex kit that r3obc has, will cost around 300-350 all in fitted
just buy 35 mm lowering springs. you take out your suspension legs, take out the old springs, put in the new springs, and put the leg back in!
ide say a 35 mil drop on 16s will look nice, and youll sacrifice no practicality or anythin extreme. The ride will be slightly bumpier as youve lowered...
depends on the spring manufacturer.. some do 35 mil, some do 40 mil. no difference at all really. ide keep standard shocks if your only dropping it that much
im dropped 60 mil and no the ride isnt as good as it was, you feel alot more bumps, hit a speed bump too fast n youll scrape somethin. 60 mil looks good though imo. But if you dont wanna sacrifice practicality, just drop it 35 mil
ebay, was only 15 and its practically brand new, got all the rubber fitments and spare grub screw. think ill throw it bak on ebay n find a lift up reverse one :(.
thing is, my cousins got exactly the same gear knob, momo race air leather, and his is lift up reverse.
Could the same gearknob...
ok why does thislookwrong. Ive got my oldone off, took the white plastic thingoffand put the new one on. ive lifted up the reverse to howmuch it needs to go and secured it in place. Is this wrong?
