You have to pay the £10 no matter what package you have :( You only need the box as you'll have the dual lines from having Sky+. I think Comet were doing it cheap, but you had to sign up for SkyTalk (Free) or something like that.

HDMI is digital, so the cable cost is irrelevant. But I only have cheapo component freebie cables that came with my 360, so maybe that wont be helping. I thought you wouldnt notice the difference between 1080 and 720 at 42" anyway? Thats what 99% of people say..
