I don't like the handling with the seats removed. It felt like the back end was just hopping round like a trailer (more noticable on twisty crests and dips on b-roads).
It feels much more controllable and progressive with the seats left in imo. I know its not a huge amount of weight but on...
I had to turn ESP off in a BMW last year in the snow. The damn thing wouldn't move from standstill with it switched on.
It doesn't particularly bother me whether its on or off in normal conditions though, its pretty unintrusive.

There was literally a solid coating of metal/sl4g/rust bonded to the wheels. (FYI they now look immense, pics to come soon ;))
