sounds like pros are the better option for you if you are worried about being to low and pushing the std shocks too much. For me the Pros were all about improving the handling of the car, not lowering it, so they were a good choice.
its difficult for me to say as my car has only just come back off 17"s (as in the pics) but from what I remember you can definately see a visible change. It might be worth PM'ing Telford_Mike as he used to have a pic of his 172 (on pros) parked along side a std 172 and you could definately see...

how do I get hold of the tech demo, can't find it through Steam's website? Do I have to download it through HL2? or can someone provide me a direct link? thanks!
just tested it at lunchtime, seems to be working with LimeWire much, much better, downloading at 55k, but it is during the day, will have to see tonight
plus is basic package 50:1 2mb, no download limit, not good for P2P, £14.99, premier is 30:1 2mb, no download limit, £21.99 (as I understand it, you can ofcourse have different speeds for more money)
I joined Plus.net on the 'Plus' account to find that using PSP such as LimeWire was a complete waste of time, I have just had the account upgraded to Premier to improve overall surfing performace also, is P2P likely to be any better? (haven't tested it yet)
