I'm not one for recorded cars at all, but often it's not a bad way to get a nice car for decent money, assuming the repair is good etc. Pics of before, during and after the damage are a must. It is also worth remembering that if you claim you will only get the cat D of the car, not market value.

That demon tweeks folia tec stuff is very cheap. I was looking at getting a pro 'sticky back plastic' job done on my front bumper, yeah about £250 ! I passed on it.
