Yeah cheers it does a bit, I thought I had most of it right now, only thing you and I both have wrong now couzens is that the normal beam is going off, in the guide it says that there is a fuse to stop this from happening which can be fitted to all clios, although this is not the case and it...
I think thats one I could win... The amount of cash monies spent on mine is ridiculous and thats without necessities like services and MOT's. I'm gonna tott it up just to scare myself!
If you decide to break it lemme know, I imagin I could have quite a shopping list.
I've always wanted to do this but dash out just for that seems so unjustified!!!! :( If you get it out, take pics of the process so i can weigh up whether its worth it :P
Head failed on my 8v just over a year ago, seems like yours my car was a dog, engine is almost like new now!
Real shame to see as in pics your car always looks quite nice!
Chin up, bet my car has had more money spent on it than yours ;) :P
Why I've never seen this project before I don't know but wow its nice!
All of these mk1 projects are totally questioning my want for a 172....
Car looks mint, the amount of work going into it is brilliant, would love to have these sorta skills.
Ok just to make sure i have what i have done correct so far......
Diagram time....
This is what illuminates when I turn my regular dipped beam headlights
This is what illuminates when I flash the high beams (as if you were letting someone go)
This is what illuminates when I pull the light...
The adjusters are working, you can hear them moving, and when you clip them out, the little thing is moving, but when I put them back in place they have 0 effect on the height of the headlight.
It's your first car mate and you should enjoy making it your own, don't worry about the get something else comments, mines only a 1.2 but I've enjoyed making it unique until I can afford something else, I enjoy working on it and it's nice when everyone is impressed that it looks as good as it...
I've fitted both to mine, did the the front dual optics just this weekend. The fronts are more difficult and more money but look just as good as doing the back IMO. Back wiring is easy peasy to do and there are guides for both on here. I can make you up a loom for the front conversion very cheap...
Not the best colour at all but can look very nice with black touches, my friend has done this to his 106 and it looks very nice! Only thing I'd be worried about is that it's had a front end smash that hasn't even been repaired properly, if it drives straight etc you could make the seller aware...
Dual optics are a good plan, colour coding will
also update the look massively. It's not 182 rear lights you want, any mk2 ph2 Clio lights will give you the look you want and will cost about 30 quid.
