I laughed down the phone when they told me that mine was gonna cost £440!!! A local chap said he could supply and fit me one for £160+VAT.

Igniter is the bit on the back of the lamp. The ballast is screwed to the underside of the headlamp unit - it's easier to take the bumper off and remove the headlamp to get to the ballast pack.

I'd try swapping the ballast and igniter's over to see if it does it the other side, if so you know its not the lamp. If it's the lamp dying get a new pair www.hids-direct.co.uk D2s's are the ones you want 4300k is the most OEM look.

Easy fix, take the clusters out and clean off the rust thats built up and make the connections tighter :) Simples.

In that case its the adjustment for the wipers on auto or intermittent - to make them wipe slow or quick.

As TEG says, does it crank? Heater plugs - as it very cold, mine used to hate starting in the cold... Injectors? or air getting in somewhere! When it runs, does it run sweet as normally?

That'll be the rear wiper?

Air bag light could be the wires under the seats - give them a wiggle. Squeaky clutch could just be the cable - or the pedal. Try some WD-40? Grinding noise sounds like a wheel bearing.

I'd love another RS but for the amount of miles I do, Derv is the way to go! I only just filled the shed with £70 worth of derv :( bad times!

Does sound like there's a loose connection or a dodgy relay there somewhere, without getting having a poke about I cant say much else!

Yes, as it tilts forward then slides, right? I had a customer's seat that wouldn't tilt and slide forward and i managed to tilt it forwards (but not slide) and i found a 2p wedged in the mechanism! So it could be something as simple as that, or it could be a bit more serious and something is bent.

Kill it with fire... Check to see if all the fuses are in and working. There may be a loose connection or even a broken wire in the loom - without a multi-meter and a bit of electrickery knowledge I doubt you'll get very far. Do you have a friendly local garage who will know what they're doing?
