The fronts go backwards towards the rear of the car and the rears go forwards towards the bonnet... afaicr Piece of wood on each end, give it a sharp tap with a hammer and they should come off...

I wouldnt trust what it says 100% mine will alter what it says each time you switch it on! People should manually check their oil anyways! I do but because its DERV its so black and minging 90% of the time its hard to tell how much is in there because it's stained the dipstick! lol

I went from a 182 to a dCi 100, it does go well, 84bhp at the hubs 134ftlb torque 60+mpg no matter how I abuse it... even after its Dyno runs! Sits nicely on the motorway, not alot of engine noise either... Ive done circa 8k since november, cant complain! £30 a year to tax...
