I got a tom tom one v4, with the extra antenna bit (it detects traffic jams etc) and re routes you. I can't fault it. it cost me about £160 a while ago (it'll be cheaper now)

Rich - Imo it's the tyres, I ran avons on my valver years ago, awful things tbh. God knows what my mate had on his gti, it really was ace though. I assume yours is 100% standard ?

My mates old gti handled so well as standard (it was quite new when he got it) no clio i've ever been in or driven was as good as that.

Imo travelling to rentech etc will be a complete mission, your looking at about 10 hours or so each way. I'd go with Gaz's suggestion tbh. I'd get the whole lot done in the specialists tbh.

It's looking a lot lot better now, but I agree with the others about the repair. Imo it looks like it's got a groove in the bodywork, just above the passenger side side skirt. Like you say though, it could just be the pics.
