Neil, are you talking in general or has some one copied you ?? In general, if it's stuff like an RS grill on a clio, everyone has done it now. I find that mods to cars on here tend to go in trends, one person does it then if it looks good others do it too.

It depends on what the mod is imo, if it's a complete one off & someone copies it i'd be annoyed. If it's just a case of someone having the same wheels etc, there is nothing you can do as it will happen (i'm just giving examples btw) What has been copied ?? (if anything)

Just buy one from halfrauds, or cut down your standard one. Mines 1/2 thr size of the OE one, it came from halfrauds & looks OE.

Mk2 vee/trophy one yeah - but they are pricey. A mk1 vee spoiler is the same as as a normal 172, quite boring tbh.

If they fit a mk2 phase 2 they won't fit a mk2 phase 1 as the threads aren't the same size. One is 5mm the other is 6mm.
