Umm, put the new plate on, then put the old one (original one) back on when you sell the car, or just sell it with the CUP plate on it.

Mine was making about 180 iirc (standard mk1) no renault clio in the mk2 or mk3 shape puts out what it's meant to as the figs are DIN bhp. A mk1 vee is about 210bhp (as per mine) a mk2 vee is 240 or so (all fly figs)

Is the 1.4 s also called a maxim ?? (I know that there was a special edition mk1 called a maxim - as in the magazine I think) For £550.00 it's likely to be awful, if it's near you there is no harm in looking at it out of curiosity.
