Mk2 Ph1 rear light bulb holder fit a Mk2 Ph2 rear light shell? Cheers for the help.

On my way home from uni, driving down longlands avenue, sidcup around 5:40 seen an orange cup about 6 or 7 times... anyone know who this is? Car looks mint.

How to remove a mk2 ph1 radio and vent surround, sorry to ask again, but didnt get any response at all... Got a new one on the way as mine was mashed by some cheeky little bugga trying to take my head unit. Please Help Cheers.

Oh and does any one know if i can get a replacement volume button for a panasonic head unit? Do i need to contact panasonic? Its quite old now but being a student am too poor to replace...

Any one know how to get the plastic radio and vent surround out of a mk2 ph1? Its a RN if that helps. Some t**t mangled it when having a crack at my cd player, got a new one on the way, had a look but doesnt seem easy to get out. It has that plastic bit that goes down quite far inside the car...

Just changed my backbox out, does it need to be insured? Didnt think it had any real performance gains... or is it just more how it makes it look, like more stealable etc.

Looks much better, would love to do it to mine. What average price on these?

What an awesome thread, i have been thinking of doing this lately, but am now looking at going for the 1.6 as being 19 the insurance will be a total killer. I am running exactly the same as leon. 1998 RN. Just wondering if anyone has any idea of 1.6 engine price and good place to get it from?

I had an almost identical smash, same colour and mk2 and everything, except mine happened when i wasn't even in the car. I think i got hit a little harder, had to have new wing, whole bumber, headlight etc... Just hope its only body work damage and nothing more, if its been checked over...

Is it just me or are the numbers of 172's and 182's going up massively in sidcup, Unforunately i only have a 1.2 mk2 burgendy Clio, S reg. Hopefully will be upgrading to 172 this time next year, no mods yet either, just so damn poor, student life sucks.... Look out for me, always around, spend...

Have a Mk2 phase 1 Brought myself a cheap alarm of ebay, just because my RCL went up the s**tter and it was actually cheaper to put this in, that would intergrate into CL than have renault fix it, as with everything to do with alarms, its not as easy as it looks, sposed to be DIY and next door...

Have almost exactly the same prob, but i've brought my alarm, on the advert, said easy to fit, can be fitted with little or no car knowledge, it intergreats into central locking, which was my main reason for buying as my fob has broken, and has prooven expensive to fix, but took a lot of the car...
