In terms of speed they pee on vee's hard ! Standard (turbo) they do 60 in 4.7 secs, a ton in 12.5 secs. Not to mention how well they handle. A remap (30bhp more) is circa £500 There is so much you can do to them, it's pretty endless. I do love my vee, but as a drivers car it just doesn't stand...

Not really, you can have it done within an hour, you will need a mate to hold it though (or your ma or pa etc)

You get a nice bit of bubble gum, say hubba bubba, then spread it along the splitter, then push it up agianst the bumper, that'll hold it;) Seriously, you need to raise the front end up a bit, get a mate to hold it against the car, get under the front bumper, mark out where you want to screw...

No i've not been to them as cars shows in general are rubbish. Years ago I was into them, but they were always a bit chavvy, now they are generally a complete waste of time. The Punto comment was banter btw;)

Tdci engines are meant to be really good. A few of my mates have tdci focuses, they are a bit noisy though.

I wonder if it's recorded ? There are a fair few cars out there (fords especially) that have been bumped then turned into reps of better models.

Blimey most only offer a month now ? I though most gave a year ? but the warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on. You'll have to get a feel for the car mate if it's from a trader, check it all out thoroughly.

I have had a few cars as have my rents & old birds etc, none of have ever needed one, we take our time to buy a minter. It sounds geeky, but I get a feel for the buyer & the car, if the sellers a bit clueless or not forthcoming (and not really into cars) I'll not get it, i'd much rather buy...
