Bringing up an old post I know, but has anyone had any success fixing the thumb grip? I might try and cover mine in carbon film. Would only look better tho!!
There is a guide in the guide section. Basically, jack up passenger side, remove wheel, unscrew screw holding arch lining and pull out 2 large plastic bungs, you will see the valve attached to the horn assembly. Unplug electrical socket and remove small pipe. But be sure to bung up the small...
Why would you want to remove both airfeeds? You've replaced them with a better one I guess? When I removed mine it felt like lost torque so put it back on. I recommend taking the acoustic valve off tho, 10 minute job and it feels better and sounds a little louder too.
What do you mean it's not perfect? It looks AMAZING!! Really clean!! Did you brush the paint on the intake and fuel rail or remove it all? Mine could do with a spruce up!!
Good stuff there, like the aerial, where did you get that from? Linky please!!
It depends with the plates, I drove about for years with a cut down plate front and back (normal font, just attacked with a jigsaw) and never had a problem ever!! On different cars too. Go for it, they look awesome!!
Yeah a copy thread would be great!! Lol
I'm going to do my diamonds and bullets carbon, as they can be reversed. Only vinyl tho cuz I'm a pauper!! Lol
Yeah found it and said to the missus "look another one like mine"!! Looks nice and clean. Listed as 'digital green' isnt it?
Well they are rare...
That's exactly the same as what my garage did for me, so couldnt grumble really.
Just out of interest is yours at a KIA garage? Think I've found it, was excited as it's the only one bar mine I've seen for sale!!
Like the mod ideas, I'm goin the carbon route too, but love the engine cover idea...
That photoshop I awesome!!
But on the thread reason, I can't believe there are only 2 petrol blues on here, not with all the members!!
I hope none of them have been destroyed!! :(
You will not regret buying a Clio 182. Depending on what you want to do to it, mod wise, don't worry so much about cup suspension pack, sure it's 3mm lower, a bit wider and gets nice colour wheels, but a standard 182 isn't a wallowy beast, handles like a dream!! But DEF get cup spoiler pack!!
Sounds like the garage I got it off. They were having the belt done "as we speak" then 5 days later realised it needed a Renault dealer to do it properly!! Still at least its getting done properly!!
What bits you got so far?
I'm after seeing if anyone in the Cannock/Stafford area would have a spare set of wheels that I could borrow for a weekend when I get my wheels sprayed? Obviously for some beer tokens!
I know it's an ask but saves buying more and then having to get rid of them etc!!
Not just yet, but in next...
