I'd go for an R27 if you're looking for a 197. I found the standard car lacking in all the good bits about the Mk2.

Here's a 200, but the FF 197's the same.

Also, re the pedals. The 197 Cup doesn't have the aluminium jobbies. The FF items have an extra lip on for better H&T. Seems an odd decision seeing as the Cup's meant to be the track-orientated model. I'm pretty sure you can buy them and swap them though.

I don't understand why people ask for a certain coilover brand in pictures. Surely a ride height is a ride height, regardless of setup? I had a Ph1 but never ran coilovers on it. Loads have though.

I'd hold out for the Recaros mate. I test drove a full leather optioned 200 and was sliding all over the show. Some of that might be down to my Hobbit dimensions, but I didn't get on with them at all. Plus, the Recaros are super tasty. :o
