By "everything" what do you mean and how do you know? Is it a fall out remover like IronX or Deironiser?

197 build quality.. opinions and thoughts?

Rubbish. My old Clio broke and broke down constantly. My S3 has less rattles at 77k miles than my Clio did from new.

My new car = new cleaning products

You're wrong. You're wrong; GTechniq GWash and Meguiars Hyper Wash. You're wrong. You're wrong - Megs No16 is useful as a drying aid... ... and is a good lube for claying with Megs Mild Clay. Red Mousse Glaze on that colour. You're wrong. You're wrong. You're wrong.

    Paste wax gone like mush

I would stay clear of 476. Very dull wax and if longevity is all you're after (not looks) then go 845 insulator wax or fk1000p. Both will last 6 months if applied correctly and cared for. Failing that, what's your budget?

    Removing biro from alcantara

Finally. Depends on how precious you are. £15 for the right product (as above, search for it in google) or £5 on the wrong products then £Xxx on a new seat... I know what I'd invest in...

    Paste wax gone like mush

You can still use it fella. If it goes like that scoop up a small amount and hand apply it, warming it in your hands first. Temp fluctuations will alter most detailing chemicals sadly so indoor/temp controlled garage is a must.

    Paste wax gone like mush

I know. Toby is a b**ch and Don't get me started on that Gally character... It should still be perfectly usable but I would be inclined to contact the supplier. Worded nicely, you might get a replacement, depending on how old the pot is of course...

    Paste wax gone like mush

Loving that you presumed we would pounce on you for using nattys. I swear by it. Is it stored outside? If so varying temps would be my guess.

    Good Drying Towels......

Who does want a waffle? Toby, buy black baron and be done with towels. 12 x £11 is more than the BB costs?

    Porter Cable - worth keeping?

As Russ says, the PC is old now and there are better machines out there. However, I still have mine from at least 7 years ago and see no reason to upgrade for the moment, purely due to the lack of use it gets (finishing down the VAG family fleet when I get around to doing them!). If you can...

Butchered by a bodyshop... Nissan 350Z Enhancement

What a mess! But good to see it corrected. Body shops should be held accountable for that sort of thing, Russ. I'm sure Gally agrees!

    iPhone 4 v iPhone 4s

Gave my 4 to the OH and now seems very slow in comparison to my 4S. So if you can afford to, upgrade.

    Multiple text messaging.

Lee, when you send me jokes and they go to the other 43 recipients, I usually can't open them - it slows the phone down massively!! Although the ones today worked??!!

1000 wet and dry is too harsh. Stop giving out advice when you're clearly clueless.

    Headlight UV Damage

Someone even had their thread stickied, containing advice to use 600 grit... Oh, and Mr Muscle... jesus.

  25. J

    Headlight UV Damage

No. 2000 grit upwards. 1000 is too harsh. But thank god you're not as stupid as others who have used 800 grit!!
