I would stay clear of 476. Very dull wax and if longevity is all you're after (not looks) then go 845 insulator wax or fk1000p. Both will last 6 months if applied correctly and cared for. Failing that, what's your budget?

Finally. Depends on how precious you are. £15 for the right product (as above, search for it in google) or £5 on the wrong products then £Xxx on a new seat... I know what I'd invest in...

You can still use it fella. If it goes like that scoop up a small amount and hand apply it, warming it in your hands first. Temp fluctuations will alter most detailing chemicals sadly so indoor/temp controlled garage is a must.
