iv got 16" wheels on mine and iv got a 40mm drop and they catch only when on full lock. gonna try some spacers on the front to see if it stops rubbing.. gna try dropping 60mm see what thats like soon il elt you know :)

i set out wide mouthing my mk2 i actually cut the grill out on the first bumper i had but then realised i couldnt find the widemouth piece :S plus i smashed tht bumper up when i crashed lol. Where can you get them?

motor has mayb gone in the passenger door needs stripped out and check its not fucked. jst changed a boot lock on ma mates clio coz the motor was fucked.

well i changed discs and pads all around on a 172 (thought it was a 182 at first lol) went to move it off the lift and SNAP the f**king cam belt snapped. i told him this and he said he had it bookied on for a cam belt on monday (he lives in edinbrough) its neva had 1 in its 8 years of living...

yeah that would stop spark and fuel because the Tdc tells the ECU the timing etc

just get a small screwdriver and carefully split it, they can sometimes be quite akward :S

yeah id give the crank sensor ago

iv just sorted this on another car, try splitting the fob in two and check that everything is still attached sometimes the soulder can break and it doesnt always make a connection.

Ah yeah never thought about the crank sensor, it could well be that as thats where the engine pics up on everything i.e timing etc could be worth while trying one and see if it makes a diff

As budgie said check the Ht leads are on correctly and mayb get another coil pack to try on. Also try checking the plug that goes onto the coil pack make sure its getting a good connection

I had the same problem but i just cleaned up the contact on the spade connector and touch wood its been fine since then..

gimmie a break iv been working all day and im fucked lol. plus iv only been working with ma dad for 4 years but i guess thats still no excuse! haha
